My trip to KC started when I decided that I needed to spend time with my family once again. Mike took me to the Orlando airport on Tuesday, January 18th and I headed for KC with a connecting flight at Washington International, arriving in KC about 7 pm. Bob picked me up and we stopped by Amber & Joel's house which I had never seen before. Then on to Ritas where I would be staying.
1/19/2005. Rita and I spent the next day at Stadium View and shopping. Brittany stopped by that evening and we had a very nice dinner and a quiet evening.
1/20/2005. Went to Parkville and had lunch with Bob and Amber. Rene came over after work and we met Bob and Penny for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Had a great girl party until the wee hours.
1/21/2005. Shopped, had a pedicure, and fixed a wonderful steak dinner. Amber had gallbladder surgery today and all went well.
1/22/2005. Rene & I went to visit Amber at the hospital, to Westport Flea Market for burgers, then on to Rene's house. We did a clean sweep project and cleaned out her spare bedroom. After that, we watched Ya Ya Sisterhood.
1/23/2005. After dropping off the stuff that Rene donated from the clean sweep, she took me back to Rita's house. Aaron joined us for Rita's wonderful pasta dinner. Early to bed.
1/24/2005. Uneventful trip back to Florida.
